A PRIMARY school has been required to close after a number of students tested positive for Covid-19. All pupils attending Garrett Hall Primary in Tyldesley will be required to stay at home today while a deep clean takes place. It is understood that a yesterday, a Year 4 class had been forced to isolate and there had been positive tests in three further classes. In an e-mail sent to parents last night, headteacher Tracy Beaty wrote: "Due to the number of positive Covid-19 cases within our school, I have taken the difficult decision to close Garrett Hall tomorrow for all children.
