Washington, October 13 (IANS) NASA's Psyche mission, aiming to explore an asteroid rich in gold, diamond and platinum, is all set to launch on Friday, after weather played spoilsport an earlier launch on Thursday.

The goal of the mission is to study this space rock in great detail as it can tell us more about planetary cores and Earth's own formation.
