Westwood Police Logs, April 19-26 The following are excerpts from the Westwood Police logs from April 19-26. The logs are public record. Monday, April 19 12:43 p.m.: One vehicle rear-ended another while in heavy traffic at Route 1 southbound. There was minor damage to both vehicles, and no injuries. 4:42 p.m.: A two-wheel dolly fell off a U-Haul trailer when it struck a pothole at the intersection of Washington and East streets. 5:50 p.m.: A cell phone was found at the base of a tree at Canton Street and Cushing Road. The phone was damaged, which made police believe it had been thrown from a vehicle. The phone was brought to the station for proper disposal. ....
