Rain. the warm temperatures. then we get the snow melt and the ice jams on the rivers. so this is going to be, you know, potentially destructive from one to two inches of rain from st. louis through indianapolis, up through ohio. even western new york, near buffalo, syracuse, rochester. heavy rain. snow melt is not a good combination for the rivers there. then on top of all of this the backside of the storm will be cold enough that we ll deal with significant ice and snow. so you re going from a rainstorm to cold temperatures with ice in st. louis, central illinois, near indianapolis. northern ohio, western new york. and the snow side of the storm, you re going to have to shovel and plow, a very difficult morning tomorrow. kansas city could end up with 6 inches, north of st. louis, near quincy, also chicago, this looks like a chance for your biggest snowstorm of the winter season, potential 6 to 8 inches for you. detroit, less than, 4 to 6 inches. jonathan, this is a kitchen sink ....
