A 12-year-old boy is battling for his life at the Victoria Hospital’s
Burns Ward after he sustained electrical shock injuries from a newly installed transformer. On 25 January, the victim was playing outside his house in Lakshmidevinagar in
Nandini Layout, when he used the newly-erected
transformer for support and was electrocuted. As treatment. the doctors had to amputate one of his hand, and are now considering amputating the other, to save his life.
The incident took place on 25 January at around 3.20 pm, when Avez Khan was playing behind a mosque in KSCB quarters. Just a week prior to the incident, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagar Palike ( ....
