People perceive that there are greater levels of pollution. They understand the New Buildings are so much better than previous for climate purposes it is a good reminder when we talk about consolidation and the overall impact this needs to be part of the language when we look at a change to help people ride buses and ride bikes and walk. I think theres a toxic mix in San Francisco today. You have a bunch of new people who have very fast cars and very fancy cars and like to go very fast. And then you have a bunch of new cyclists. Right now, San Francisco has seven out of ten Homeless People that once had a roof over their heads, one of the worst income inequalities in the world. The average latino family in the district making 25,000 a year, yet we have white people making 150 k a year. Do a disproportionate amount of sex work is a way to survive in this city. And yet, and the Violence Associated with sex work is so high, and that is a form of hate crime. And im just not getting a perception of some of the intersections of or the vulnerablity, i guess, of my community. And when i say my community, i shouldnt be so parochial, because all of us are here together.
