Baxter Regional launches capital campaign to renovate 5-South
Baxter Regional Medical Center representatives Wednesday officially announced the launch of a campaign aimed at raising funds to renovate the hospital’s 5-South wing, which houses patients post surgery. Hospital officials Wednesday also announced that the BRMC Auxiliary would serve as the campaign’s lead donor, contributing $700,000 towards the target goal of $1.7 million for the renovations. Since the Baxter Regional volunteer auxiliary was formed in 1962, its members have given more than $7.5 million to help meet the needs of the hospital.
