Hospitalizations are trending down, and death rates are projected to as well. and here in new york, a group of public school employees is asking the u.s. supreme court to put a stop to the city s vaccine mandate. court papers filed thursday, lawyers basically arguing instead of allowing these employees to opt out and not receive a vaccine and get weekly testing, instead the lawyers argue that the mandate, quote, forces unvaccinated public school employees to go on unpaid leave for nearly a year. they go on to argue that it places an unconstitutional burden on some of the public school teachers here. jason carroll, cnn, new york. well, the debate over masks has tempers flaring in one alaska city. they wanted to hear from members of the community before imposing a mask mandate due to rising covid cases. on day three of testimony, four people were arrested for disrupting the meeting while most people opposed the mandate, ....
