Similar. essentially this rocket is the exact same, just instead of the space shuttle which is obviously not here, there s an orion crew capsule on top. what they ve done with this rocket is they re using the same engines that were used to power the space shuttle right down here. so there s several engines down here, and they ve taken them off and just put them underneath the big main burnt orange core stage of the sls artemis rocket. it was one of those four engines down here, engine number three, that had a problem. they need to cool these engines down to the right temperature before they can use all of that liquid propellant, the very cold liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen, to launch this off the launchpad. so right now, engineers are troubleshooting, trying to figure out if they can get there rocket ready to fly again for the second launch attempt which is on friday. third launch attempt is on monday. if those don t work, they may have to roll it back to the patted and start over ....

Engineers are troubleshooting right now is they ve seen a line of frost in what s called the inter tank. there is not an inter tank on this exact model but it would be found right about here in the middle section of the core stage of the rocket. it is where the super cold liquid propellant is separated between the liquid hydrogen and the liquid oxygen. they don t know if it s a crack, all they can see is a line of frost. that is why we are kind of in a hold right now and we don t know if this launch is going to go today. we ve also had two other issues, we ve had lightning delays, we ve had a hydrogen leak. nasa was successfully able to push through those two problems but now they re still troubleshooting these two and, you know, brianna and john, one of the big problems right now in addition to these technical issues is the weather because they have a two-hour launch window. we are now almost certainly going to miss the beginning ....

They encountered some similar issues during previous tests, but this time they were successfully able to work through it. so that s the good news, but the bad news is all of that troubleshooting, all of those lightning delays, it really ate into some of the it ate into some of their countdown clock. so they really wanted to launch at the beginning of the window at 8:30 because, hey, it is it is august in florida and that is when the weather is likely the best. now it s looking like it may be moving closer to that 10:30 time frame, though nasa officials still have not given an updated estimate on when exactly they are target to go launch. john and brianna, if it does launch it is going to be such a spectacle for all of us to see. for people on tv and for those of us here, we re actually going to be to feel this rocket in our chest because we have not seen something like this since the 60s or 70s when the saturn v rocket launched that apollo astronauts to the moon. this rocket on t ....
