hello and welcome to the film review with me, anna smith. i m filling in for mark kermode to review this week s releases, whether you re at home or able to go out to the cinema again. directorjulien temple has worked with many a rock star from keith richards to the sex pistols and his latest subject is the equally colourful shane macgowan. crock of gold: a few rounds with shane macgowan is a riveting documentary about the lead singer and songwriter of the pogues, who shot to fame in the ‘80s with their anarchic spin on irish folk music. using unseen footage from the macgowan family and narration from shane himself, this shows him growing up in ireland with a pint in his hand and a song in his heart. then it s on to english public school and the hedonistic allure of the london punk scene, the birth of the pogues and a punishing world tour. in episodes illustrated by the great ralph steadman, there are shocking stories about wild nights out and terrifying tales of m ....
time for a look at the weather with stav da naos. hello, there. it s been a cold day today with very light winds, and we ve seen some mist and fog which has been stubborn to clear. the reason for the light winds is, as you can see on the pressure chart, barely any isobars and that stagnant air continues into the start of next week as well. now, we start to see those showers fading away and becoming confined to coastal areas. most places will be dry tonight and we ll start to see a return to some dense fog around, some frost and also a risk of some ice in places as temperatures for many of us hover around freezing, and a few places below freezing. so it s a cold start to monday, rather grey with some dense fog around which could be slow to clear, and where the fog lingers it s going to stay pretty cold. start to see some showers and stronger winds moving into the east coast of scotland and north east england, a few showers also affecting the channel area. otherwise it s ....
goalscorer in north london derbies. the win puts tottenham two points clear of chelsea at the top whilst arsenal are languishing in 15th. we ve gone match after match, we are enjoying the situation, of course, very much. i believe that the public and the ones at home in front of the screen, the tottenham fans, they are also enjoying the moment and for one more week, we are going to be top of the league, so it s good fun. we have a lot of situations, we have the chances, we have the crutches, but we didn t have the improvement to wina but we didn t have the improvement to win a full blown match. they had a situation, a score from 30 yards, i applaud them, it s a world class goal, the second one we had a man down, one minute to go, we had this situation for against three. and from that, someone got injured, he cannot carry on and we leave a massive gap there, and they take advantage of it. leicester city beat sheffield united 2 1 at bramall lane. with the game level at o ....
