MSNBC Andrea Mitchell Reports October 10, 2024

Coast in a few hours. Tonight, milton expected to bring a mix of storm surge, high winds and power outages to communities across florida. More than 1 million people are under evacuation orders with local officials urging people in vulnerable zones to get to safety now. If you were as blunt as we have seen a public official be. If people stay in the evacuation zones and try to ride it out, they will die. Is that still your message this morning? wherever that storm surge comes, if it s 10 to 15 feet and people are trying to ride this out in singlestory structures, there s no place to go. At any moment we expect to hear from president biden and vice president harris on the federal response. Al roker is here joining me with the latest on milton s path. MSNBC Chris Jansing Reports October 10, 2024

Going to be different? and so the difference between what they re used to and what this will be, as a way to, hopefully, give them more encouragement to know that they need to get out? thank you, madam vice president. Yes, we are emphasizing the size and intensity of the storm and the direction at which it s approaching which is unusual and really raises that storm surge risk for the west coast of florida. We typically see hurricanes approach the west coast of florida from the south or southeast parallel to the coast. This track, more perpendicular to the coast raises the storm surge risk. And the size of the storm is going to produce hazardous impacts across much of the peninsula. So, we ve been hitting the surge risks on both coasts, and flooding and tornadoes, trying to emphasize the scale and breadth of the threat which is somewhat unusual for milton. Thank you. Thank you for your good work. Mike, one more question yes, sir. For people listening, what is the width from the state o ....

MSNBC Katy Tur Reports October 10, 2024

Before making landfall earlier than expected tonight in florida. Forecast to bring up to 15 feet of lifethreatening storm surge to some regions, up to 18 inches of rain in areas like tampa, and catastrophic, sustained winds. At this hour, parts of florida are already feeling the effects as milton grows in size and moves closer to the west coast. More than 1 million people are under mandatory evacuation orders. Thousands are still fleeing the state in search of higher ground, as the window to get out starts to close, and resources dwindle. As of this morning, 60% of tampa bay s service stations reported they are completely, completely out of gas. And now tornadoes like this one in broward county, hundreds of miles from milton s core. This is new video of it crossing i75 today. I ll speak with one of florida s mayors, the one who has rode out a whole lot of storms since the mid70s in a moment. What he says milton could do. First, let us get to our reporters. Joining us now, nbc news corr ....

FOXNEWS Jesse Watters Primetime October 9, 2024

Tonight. . . Would you have done something differently than president biden during the past four years? there is not a thing that comes to mind. Jesse: kamala s media blitz goes off the rails. Why is she trying to politicize this? i don t have time for political games. I have people whose lives are on the line. Jesse: people are dying and the democrats are lying. Hopefully we are going to be able to accommodate the voters and somewhat take voting to the voters. Jesse: they are changing the voting rules because of the hurricane. Oh, no. Plus. . . How does that sound? [bleep] you. jesse: oh, no,, barack is not happy. After hiding harris all fall, democrats watched her numbers drop. It was time to change strategy. Obama ordered kamala, you are doing a media blitz, but harris could not handle the pressure. She cannot even survive the view. If anything, would you have done something differently than president biden during the past four years? there is not a thing that comes to mind in t ....
