Labelexpo Europe 2023 Unveils Educational Program

The first-ever Labelexpo Mexico 2023 will take place April 26-28 at the World Trade Center in Mexico City. It’s the full Labelexpo exhibition, after the company has hosted successful Summit-style events in the region.

GM (Grafisk Maskinfabrik) has confirmed its participation at Labelexpo Mexico 2023, as part of the company’s strategic growth plan in Latin America (LATAM). Labelexpo Mexico 2023, taking place in April 26–28, will help GM to show how its reliable finishing solutions and expertise can benefit label printers.  

GM (Grafisk Maskinfabrik) has launched the DC350Flex+ Wine line for premium embellishment of labels. The new 350 mm-wide finishing line offers flexo varnish unit, hot stamping for foiling and embossing, screenprinting, and 130m/min rotary die-cutting as standard. It gives label converters a new way to enter luxury markets, such as high-end wine, spirits, and cosmetics. 

The state of the label and packaging industry has changed dramatically over the past few years. Struggles to find skilled operators, the continued difficulties in acquiring raw materials, and a strong push from consumers and brand owners alike for more sustainable options are a few of the obstacles label converters are facing.
