The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) has told Chris Ngige, the Minister of Labour and Employment, to respect the Trade Unions Act's prohibition on the creation of new unions where there is an existing one and to therefore revoke the certificates of registration he recently granted to the two newly formed unions that were formerly affiliated with the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
