West Texas A&M University makes updates to spirit program AGN Media Officials with West Texas A&M University announced Monday the establishment of a University Spirit Program, bringing together all of the university s spirit organizations and initiatives, including the WT Spirit Squad as well as university traditions like Maroon Platoon and Bucky the Mascot. According to a news release from the university, the University Spirit program will be under the Student Enrollment, Engagement and Success Division, housed within its Office of Student Engagement and Leadership. The WT Spirit Squad will consist of 24 student athletes with dance or cheer skills, engaging the crowd with cheers and chants, while providing entertainment at halftime and breaks. ....
