Grenade found in Spring Hill remains a mystery
How a live hand grenade ended up at a Spring Hill construction site remains unknown.
On Wednesday, April 21, an Explosive Ordinance Disposal unit from Ft. Campbell was dispatched to the city after a live grenade was found in Spring Hill.
Officers with the Spring Hill Police Department were dispatched to the site located within the 2000 block of Sercy Drive after the military explosive was found by members of the community.
At the scene, the device was X-rayed and found to be a live grenade before the EOD unit was safely removed by responding soldiers of the U.S. Army Garrison at Ft. Campbell. ....
