Vaccine Eligibility In Manitoba Expanded To Include Everyone 18-And-Older

By Matthew Dekker Manitobans 18-and-older can now receive a Pfizer or Moderna vaccine. This exceeds the province’s goal of opening vaccines to all Manitoban adults by May 21st. In addition, Medical Lead of the Vaccination Task Force, Dr. Joss Reimer, notes the the province will be adjusting its use of the Astra-Zeneca vaccine. Now, Manitoba will use the Astra-Zeneca vaccine for administration of second doses only.
