Celebrate a Legacy in Tourism honors individuals who have made significant and long-term contributions to Hawaiʻi’s tourism industry.
“Celebrate a Legacy in Tourism,” the largest fundraiser for the University of Hawaii School of Travel Industry Management at the Shidler College of Business, has set a record and is expected to support about three times the student scholarships that it did two years ago.
As PACE’s executive director, Fujiyama is responsible for leading UH’s innovation and entrepreneurship efforts, including strengthening ties with community stakeholders.
In academic year 2022–23, Shidler College awarded more than $1 million dollars to more than 300 deserving students.
