It's been in the making for some time, but Lotus has finally unveiled its latest performance offering known as the Emira. The car builds on the legacy of in-house icons like the Elise, Exige and Evora. Powering the Emira will be a choice of two petrol engines - a Toyota-derived supercharged 3.5-litre V6 and a brand-new turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder AMG 'i4' unit from the performance division of Mercedes-Benz.
