The International Society for Krishna Consciousness in South Africa (ISKCON SA), popularly known as the Hare Krishna movement, has distanced itself from ISKCON Africa and Food for Life Africa.
Food For Life Africa is currently the largest plant-based food distributor in the world. The food organisation is aiming to eliminate hunger in the country and currently helps feed people from all areas in Durban. They have been in existence for 18 months and serves more than 160 000 plates of food in a month.
