VVPAT case: EVM-VVPAT case: SC wants certain clarifications from ECI, asks for its officials' presence personally
The Supreme Court has requested clarification from the Election Commission of India regarding the 100% verification of EVM votes with VVPAT slips. The court has asked an officer from the Election Commission to appear before it and address certain queries at 2 pm today. Last week, the court reserved its verdict on a set of PILs related to this matter, cautioning against unfounded suspicions regarding EVMs.
