Baramulla, February 16 (Scoop News)- The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar today visitED Veerwan Migrant Colony Baramulla to review arrangements being made for the forthcoming festival of Maha Shivratri.
It is worth here to mention that this festival of great religious and cultural significance is scheduled to be celebrated on February 18 by the faith followers especially by the Kashmiri Pandit community with great zeal and enthusiasm.
While taking review on the spot, the DC directed concerned Departments to ensure all basic arrangements are put in place for the Community.
The DC directed the officers to ensure availability of Fish, Vegetables especially Lotus Stems (Nadroo), Spinach, Walnut, Cheese and other essential commodities including LPG Cylinders, K-oil, rice, sugar, flour, uninterrupted water and electric power supply in all the areas where the Pandit community resides.
