North Korea claimed that the deployment of a nuclear-powered submarine to South Korea may prompt the rogue state to launch a nuclear attack.
The United States has been warned by North Korea that it now has a "green light" to use a nuclear attack. The U.S. nuclear submarine's appearance in South Korea is an excuse for North Korea to consider nuclear repercussions, according to Defense Minister Kang Sun-nam.
Seoul's warning has come after Pyongyang had said the deployment of a US nuclear-capable submarine and other strategic assets here could meet the conditions for its use of nuclear arms.
