House let things spin out of control. what s your take on the coverage? yeah, i think the coverage actually has been appropriately difficult and tough on joe biden when it comes to inflation. they re kind of pounding president biden, and it doesn t matter what show you watch. the issue here, howard, is this is so palpable. people feel it every day. there s no getting around it. and i do not think this is a case where the media s going easy on biden. i looked at cnn, the new york times coverage, they ve been tough on the impact this has had on the american people. howard: right. you might say he were a little slow to dive into it, but certainly, i think, nobody can deny the fact that this is hurting families. jen psaki, who has your old cob job, was on the liberal podcast pod save is america, and she was asked this about fox news peter doocy. is he a stupid son of a bitc- [laughter] [cheers and applause] or does he play a stupid son of ....
That is a possibility. and, again, you know, reach out to the experts on both sides but from, you know, as a radio talk show host who interviews these people, the majority of those regardless of their ideology, seems to feel that that man s finger could be very close to the button because he is in a again, he is backed into the corner, and every time he s losing more military personnel, he s losing more money although he keeps gaining money, you know, through oil and gas gas to europe howard: yeah, and losing face. yeah, and losing face, obviously. and weapons. howard: all right. there is that concern. howard: i am struck by what you said earlier about people being desensitized. i understand it is hard to watch these pictures every day, it s hard to go with the magnitude of what i call the genocide, but i hope people will stick with it. i think there s still a lot of public and media interest that we are still covering it day after day after day, and that s entirely appropria ....
Well aware of this. you look at polling for him, of course we know in the dumps with polls right now, in the 30s in a lot of areas. one area where people feel he hasn t done a strong enough job as a leader is in ukraine. hay feel like he hasn t gone hard enough against russia. so while we re not getting involved, not putting troops on the ground, we re not sending jets to help ukraine, we are sending some weapons, and we are describing putin as committing genocide and as a war criminal. and so that way he gets out in front of it and kind of shows himself as a strong leader in talking about putin but without backing it up with the kind of military force that i just don t think the public here in the u.s. would support. howard: let s come back to that question. leslie, unlike the media uproar over biden saying i don t think putin should repain in power, whether that meant regime change, biden made clear this was his personal opinion. and i was, in fact, surprised it wasn t bigger news. ....
