February 20, 2021 52-year-old Tracy Williams of Flora was cited by Illinois State Police following an accident on the eastbound entrance ramp of I-64 in southern Wayne County Friday afternoon.  Police said Williams was southbound on Route 45 attempting to turn onto the ramp and hit a vehicle head-on, driven by 87-year-old James Newman of Enfield, who was northbound on Route 45.  Newman was not hurt, along with two passengers in Williams’ vehicle.  Williams was flown to a regional hospital for treatment of injuries, and cited for failure to yield the right of way while turning left.
