Payne Elementary hosts book exchage Wednesday, March 10, 2021 10:41 AM PAYNE – To celebrate Read Across America, Payne Elementary recently participated in Dr. Seuss related dress up days, read Dr. Seuss books and finished off the week by holding their sixth Annual Book Exchange. Title 1 teacher, Mrs. April Krouse plans this exchange for the school every year in hopes to promote literacy and encourage students to learn to love all different kinds of books. Tuesday, December 22, 2020 5:00 PM Wayne Trace Payne Elementary students take time to make cards for the assisted living and nursing home residents and staff members within the county. The students made 400 cards. They wanted to send love to those who cannot spend the holiday with their loved ones.
