Thirteen county districts will see their funds cut by at least 10% if Murphy's budget passes. New Jersey Herald JEFFERSON — Part of Route 15 will be closed during the next two weekends as the state Department of Transportation begins to dismantle the bridge that carries Weldon Road over the highway.  Repair crews closed Route 15 south last weekend to install shielding under the bridge. During the next two weekends, both lanes of Route 15 will close so the roadway deck can be pulled up and the damaged steel beams lifted out of the way. New Jersey Herald A 21-year-old Oak Ridge man admitted Tuesday that he was drunk when he crashed into a tree in Jefferson Township, killing his 21-year-old passenger last April. Matthew Pulis acknowledged during a Morris County court hearing that his blood alcohol level was .104% – over the .08% legal limit – when he drove his 1973 Chevrolet Nova on Berkshire Valley Road on April 25. His passenger, only identified by initials in court, died at the scene.
