I have become concerned by the number of former members of our military seeking public office. Not all, mind you, but Arthur Peterson and Gerald Malloy most notably come to mind, as they both represent positions out of line with Vermont values. Peterson, a West Pointer, has indicated with his statements and voting record that he has no empathy for anybody who isn’t a white male, and Malloy?
