Just below us, winding down an otherwise unimpressive hill in the middle of the high desert, were five different trails, all filled with jumps, berms, concrete pavers and wood features. A mountain biker could spend most of a day here, climbing and then riding down a different trail packed with free-ride flavor.
Tuolumne County Sheriff s Office Vehicle Tuolumne, CA There is an ongoing rescue taking place along Buchanan Road near Sunrise Drive and the West Side Trail in the Tuolumne area. Tuolumne County Sheriff’s spokesperson Nicco Sandelin tells Clarke Broadcasting that residents in the area could hear someone yelling for help and then they called 911. Deputies rushed to the scene to find a person about 150 feet down an embankment by Duckwell Creek. There is no word on how the person got down there or if they are injured. Sandelin added that he has no further details available at this time. An update will be provided when more information comes into the newsroom.
