Just over a month after a western Colorado psychiatric hospital warned it might have to close its doors, its leaders say the facility will remain open, at least for now.

West Springs Psychiatric Hospital, the only facility of its kind on the Western Slope, is no longer in immediate danger of closing, officials at Mind Springs Health said Wednesday.
