Spartanburg County's seven school districts are reporting approximately 1,100 new cases of COVID-19 since Oct. 12, according to information obtained by the Herald-Journal. The 1,100 cases are more than triple the estimated 350 cases reported during October for the first nine weeks.  The increase in cases is being reported at the same time as the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control reported on Tuesday that there were 210 new confirmed COVID -19 cases in Spartanburg County.
