The Ravens are 7-5 and they placed second over the weekend in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference tournament. Noah Miller leads the squad with eight goals. The Hillcrest Academy Raven soccer team travels to Wapello tonight for a Southeast Iowa Superconference match with the Indians. The Ravens come into the night with an overall record of 2-3. The Ravens were shut out last week in a loss to No. 13 Mediapolis 1-0. On the season, Hillcrest is led by Will Kolck with three goals, John Hughes, Dominic Bouse and Johnny Diaz each with one assist and in goal, Aiden Krabill has 34 saves and a 72.3% save percentage. Wapello is 1-8 on the season, knocking off Highland 5-4 on Tuesday for their first victory of the season. Hector Zepeda had four goals to lead the Indians in the win. On the season, Zepeda has 14 goals to lead the team, Robert Vazquez has a team best five assists and in goal, Kainoa Seumanutafa has made 136 saves with a 70.5% save percentage. Hillcrest has won eight straight in the series including a 6-0 victory in 2019. Action starts tonight at 7p.m. in Wapello. ....
