April 13, 2021 Bayard sewage treatment project set to move forward Written by Geoffrey Plant on April 13, 2021 Third try’s the charm for Bayard’s nearly $2 million wastewater dewatering system project, for which a contract was finally awarded to Morrow Enterprises by city councilors during their brief regular meeting Monday afternoon. “This [was] our third advertisement for construction bids for the dewatering system, and this is basically the best that we’ve been able to obtain,” said Bayard Clerk-Treasurer Kristina Ortiz. “Now that we have our full funding that included the legislative appropriation of the additional $455,000, we were going to be short about $60,000.”
