Meskerem Glegziabher, clinical assistant professor at the School of Human Evolution and Social Change at ASU, speaks on the erasure of Black history in the Southwest and how dominant narratives produce and perpetuate marginalization and uphold structural inequality. More importantly, she highlights why it is so important for communities to recognize and rectify this privation.
