Category-4 storm. when we woke up only a cat-2. that category-4 status will stick with it as it goes to the coast. our current track. still a long ways away. south of bermuda. by thursday morning we are looking at this storm off the coast of the carolinas. winds up at 150 miles per hour. this is going to be a wind maker. likely making landfall thursday evening into early friday morning. where will it make landfall? from south carolina to the souter banks. -- outer banks. it will hit landfall as a category-4 storm up to 156 miles per hour. it's likely on the higher end. it will be a major wind ...

Down to southern florida, and as we go through the next couple of days, this will be the bull's-eye for all the rain. we're looking at a lot of rain right now. look at the onshore flow. the darker colors is indicating the heaviest rain. very heavy rain down through the keys. so not a great spot today. that will be the case throughout the day, before it moves off to the west here. as we go throughout tuesday, we're looking at anywhere from 4 up to 6 inches of rain. even up to 8 in some spots. this is really a rain maker, not so much a wind maker with this tropical storm. we'll keep it as a trop...

The time th thing gets to atlanta and further north and east it won't be a big wind maker it will just bring down some rain and that will continue. and then the westerly winds will pick it "up" above and this is going to scream up to the north and east so that we're in boston with winds around 20 to 30 by then it's looking to be post-tropical at that point with just-some rain. so there it is. second landfall, 85-mile-an-hour winds. near biloxi the second landfall. first one was at plaquemine's parish in louisiana. the first of course was in nicaragua and of course folks there fared much worse....
