eventually landfall long island, perhaps southern new england, it's going to be tomorrow afternoon. so sunday afternoon is when this will approach, but i think that things start to deteriorate early on sunday. here are our tropical models and you see mostly in agreement with the long island landfall and some shifting further off to the east and a southern new england landfall. folks along long island are going to be feeling the impacts from the storm and no surprise here, we've got our hurricane warnings for the place for the entire region and then just outside of that, including new york city, is a tropical storm warning and that just means tropical storm force conditions likely in new york city tomorrow afternoon. these are the wind as it moves into the area and everything in that yellow area, that's where the tropical storm force winds, a much wilder field so those stretch to new york city. when you get the wind pulling in water, maybe three to five feet of total storm surge. it's going to be a wind situation and a storm surge
