Worcester NAACP responds to US Capitol siege, latest in Jacob Blake case
WORCESTER — This week, the Worcester Chapter of the NAACP reacted to no charges being filed against the officer who shot Jacob S. Blake and the siege on the U.S. Capitol, as well as news closer to home. In a press release, the Worcester chapter addressed Blake, a 29-year-old Black man, who was shot and seriously injured by police officer Rusten Sheskey on Aug. 23 in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
