The incident happened at the King Hussein Allenby bridge crossing. The victims are thought to have been private security personnel. Jordan has launched an investigation into the shootings. The Prison Population in england and wales has hit a record high for the second week in a row. The latest figures show there are now more than 88,500 inmates. Thats a rise of almost 1,200 in five weeks. Around half of those are cases linked to this summers riots. In a few days time, the governments temporary early Release Scheme will begin, and some offenders will be able to leave jail at an earlier point in their sentences.
