In a few weeks from now, I’ll be interviewing the Critical Animal Studies scholar Yamini Narayanan on the show to discuss her 2023 book, Mother Cow, Mother India, which offers a critical vegan analysis of the politics of cow protectionism in India. Yamini is an Associate Professor of International and Community Development at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia.
