If you attend any af2 games this season, or watch any of the games over the Internet, you will be able to see some former players and coaches from the Grand Rapids Rampage on the sidelines, including two former head coaches. In fact, they will even be facing off against each other on several occasions when their teams meet on the gridiron.
Week 16 settled all but one playoff spot with three teams qualifying for postseason play, while two others were eliminated. Spokane became the first team to win titles in the af2 and AFL in grand fashion by beating the most storied franchise, the Tampa Bay Storm, in Arena Football history in ArenaBowl XXIII. Shock QB Kyle Rowley was responsible for all ten of the team's touchdowns en route to being named MVP.
