NEW HANOVER — After the community endowment cut ties with its CEO in February, it's announced a North Carolina-based firm will help find a new leader.
The Cape Fear Literacy Council (CFLC) is excited to announce that our annual Luncheon for Literacy will return on April 23, 2024, at Northside Church in Wilmington, NC, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Guests can expect fellowship, inspiration, and a tasty, catered buffet. While the event is traditionally festive and filled with celebration, it is more than a meal. The inaugural members of the Community Advisory Council that will help New Hanover Community Endowme
The 18-member council of 'ambassadors' will act as a "liaison" between the Endowment's board and the community. Although they will not be a voting body, the Community Advisory Council will advise Endowment staff on key areas of interest, according to Endowment President and CEO William Buster.
