The U.K.'s Electoral Commission has been hacked by 'hostile actors' who had access to its system and emails unknowingly for over a year, the agency said Tuesday.

The UK Electoral Commission advised the public it was hit by a cyber-attack that affected electoral registers from August 2021.

Information from some of Dallas' 13,400 employees may have been compromised during a cyber attack against the city earlier this year.
