Zero Chill looks destined to become the next big thing in the world of teen dramas. A coming-of-age tale set in the world of ice hockey and figure skating, Zero Chill is a series about family, siblings, the irrepressible dreams of young sports stars and the joy, drama and beauty in performing on ice. BT TV caught up with the show’s stars Dakota Taylor and Grace Beedie, who play brother and sister Mac and Kayla MacBentley, and Jade Ma, who plays Sky Tyler, a young skater forced into early retirement, to find out how they brought the magic of the ice to life.

Netflix has added five new movies and TV shows to the library today, a couple of which could dent the most-watched list.

Mac is the reason why his family, including Kayla, have to leave their lives in Canada behind. After getting accepted for a hockey academy, the Macbentleys decide to move to the UK where their mum is originally from. Actor Dakota Taylor is also relatively new to the industry with just a few more credits than his co-star. Taylor has been in projects such as Homekilling Queen, The Death and Life of John F. Actor Wilf Scolding is behind Rebecca's fake partner Ethan in The One. Since launching his acting career in 2009 when he featured in an episode of Skins as a character called Bruno, he has been in numerous series. These have included Doctors, The Passing Bells, Mrs Wilson, Martin's Close and had a vocal appearance in BBC Radio 4 soap opera The Archers last year. Zero Chill is going to be dropped on Monday, March 15, on Netflix. The series will be released in full with all 10 episodes coming out at the same time. As of yet, there is no indication of the running time per episode for Zero Chill. Netflix released a trailer for the teen drama earlier this year, teasing fans on what's to come.
