Painesville Township’s trustees have unanimously voted to rezone properties along North Ridge Road for commercial use. Charleys Cheesesteaks plans to open a new Painesville Township location this fall, with township zoning officials recently approving several requests related to the business.
After more than one and a half years of discussions, including a six-month public hearing process, Painesville Township’s trustees have unanimously voted to approve the Villages at Casement rezoning request and preliminary development plan.
Negotiations between Painesville Township officials and the developers of the Villages at Casement will continue into July, with nearby hillside land having recently been added to the project’s rezoning request.
