Children’s Services
The safety and well-being of children, youth and families remains a top priority. Budget 2021 includes a $56-million increase for a total of $345 million to the Alberta Child and Family Benefit, a cash payment that helps low-income parents.
Budget 2021 also provides a $15-million increase to support at-risk children and families, excluding COVID-19 spending in 2020-21. ....

Qatar reports 469 Covid-19 cases on Feb 26

Doha: Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today reported 469 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) and 480 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 152,807.
Out of 469 new cases, 431 are community cases and 38 from travellers returning from abroad.
Till now 257 people have succumbed to the virus in Qatar.
The total number of positive Covid-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 162,737 and there are 9,673 active cases under treatment.
5,646 people were tested for the first time in the last 24 hours (9,675 tests in total) taking the total tests done so far to 1,527,438 tests. ....
