Malayalam-language cinema superstar Mohanlal Viswanathan, known popularly as Mohanlal, is back with “Drishyam 2: The Resumption,” which will debut on Amazon Prime Video worldwide Feb. 19.
Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film is the keenly anticipated sequel to his 2013 Malayalam-language blockbuster “Drishyam,” a thriller where Mohanlal plays a cable TV operator who deploys an elaborate ruse to save his family from a murder charge. The film, one of the all-time box office champions in the language, spawned several remakes featuring major stars. Phoebe Waller-Bridge, creator and star of smash hit “Fleabag,” will take on the role of the first president of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society.
Waller-Bridge performed her successful one-woman play “Fleabag” at popular venue Underbelly during the 2013 Fringe. The show earned an Olivier Award nomination and a special commendation from the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize, and was subsequently adapted into a hit series for BBC and Amazon.

The newly created role is an honorary one and will see Waller-Bridge act as a representative and advocate for the Fringe Society, the charity that exists to support everyone who wants to participate in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. ....

Donald Glover has signed an eight-figure overall deal with Amazon Studios, sources tell
Variety, marking an exit from his current deal with Disney’s FX. His brother Stephen Glover, a collaborator in writing and producing FX’s “Atlanta,” has also inked an overall with the studio.
As part of the agreement, Donald Glover’s work will be highlighted with a curated content portal on the Prime Video service, according to a person familiar with the deal.
