Meet the 2021 Outstanding Graduating Students - UMaine News


Thirteen undergraduates have been named 2021 Outstanding Graduating Students at the University of Maine.

Melanie Berry of Morrill, Maine is the Outstanding Graduating Student in the University of Maine Division of Lifelong Learning. The Dexter native will receive a Bachelor of University Studies with a minor in psychology. Her numerous awards during her UMaine years include the Nontraditional Student Scholarship, the Alpha One Powering Education Scholarship and the Adult Degree Scholarship. Berry is a human resources associate with athenahealth in Belfast, where she has worked full time since 2009. ....

One hundred miniature bears will be hidden around campus for students to find. 
Surprise Giveaway, noon, on the Mall in front of Fogler Library
A giveaway to the first 100 students sponsored by the Center for Student Involvement and Dining Services. 
Warm and Fuzzies Pickup, 11 a.m.–2 p.m., Memorial Union Information Booth
Supplies needed to make fleece blankets or to crochet blanket squares will be available for free; completed items will be donated to Project Linus.  
What’s Love Got to Do With It? 6 p.m., Memorial Union North Pod
A spin-off of the Newlywed Game, this event will test friends and romantic partners’ knowledge of each other to highlight positive qualities.  ....
