WOODBRIDGE – The township reported 140 new COVID-19 cases over a four-day period, which brings the total number of cases to 8,938, according to Mayor John McCormac in his coronavirus report on March 5.
Thirty-one new cases of COVID-19 were reported for March 1, 45 new cases were reported for March 2, 28 new cases were reported on March 3 and 36 new cases were reported for March 4.
“The three day average is 36, the seven day average is 38 and the February average was 36 so we are right in line with recent history,” McCormac said. “The January average was 67 so things are better now, but they won’t get great until we don’t need these updates any more.” ....
