The international conference OSCE Astana Summit 2010: Historical Significance and Relevance was held in an online format in Nur-Sultan today (19 February). The event was organized by the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan and the OSCE Programme Office in Nur-Sultan.
As is known, in 2010 Kazakhstan became the first post-Soviet state, the first representative of Central Asia and the first predominantly Muslim country, which was entrusted with chairing the European structure. The initiator and ideologist of Kazakhstan s chairmanship of the OSCE was the First President of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation Nursultan Nazarbayev. ....

The government of the Sultanate of Oman announced the introduction of a 10-day visa-free regime for citizens of 103 states, including Kazakhstan, Kazpravda.kz refers to the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan informing.
In accordance with the requirements, when crossing the Oman border, citizens of Kazakhstan must present a confirmation of hotel booking, a medical insurance policy for the period of stay, a return air ticket and a passport with a valid visa from Australia, Great Britain, Canada, the United States, Japan or the Schengen zone, it is informed.
Extension of visa-free stay in the country is not provided; violation of these rules entails a fine of 10 Omani rials (about $ 26) for each overdue day. ....
