Creation of a Special Task Force to protect children on priority list
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday convened a meeting with officials to review the current COVID situation in Delhi and to deliberate on measures to prevent the third wave of the pandemic.

The decision was taken by the Delhi government following issues of internet accessibility and difficulty in registering online slots
In a big relief for Delhiites who are 45+, the Delhi government has issued directives to institute walk-in vaccination for people above 45 years of age in all centres of Delhi. This decision came at a review meeting chaired by Deputy chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Delhi’s vaccination drive on Thursday evening.
“After reviewing challenges of citizens with regard to internet accessibility and issues in registering online slots, we have made a decision to allow registration and walk-in vaccination in all vaccination centres of Delhi for individuals above 45 years of age. Further we have also taken a decision to shift vaccination centres from hospitals to Delhi government school centres for citizens above 45 years of age”, Sisodia said. ....

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted dense to very dense fog very likely in the morning hours of Wednesday over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, North Rajasthan and a few places in West Uttar Pradesh. 
Also, heavy rain is very likely at isolated places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands and south Tamil Nadu on Wednesday.  ....

New Delhi, India – On Saturday evening, 12 coronavirus patients were killed after medical oxygen was depleted at New Delhi Batra Hospital. Among the dead was Dr. RK Himthani, head of the gastroenterology unit at the same hospital.
A private hospital in south Delhi was among the capital of India and all over India due to a lack of oxygen to sound the alarm as fans and fans of ICU beds are struggling to cope.
