예지 별명미친개…웃으면서 화내는 스타일 뮤직엑세스

가수 예지가 여유로운 입담으로 근황을 전했다.
예지는 30일 오후 방송된 아리랑 라디오 'Music Access'(뮤직엑세스)에 출연, 남다른 끼를 대방출했다.
이날 예지는 진행자 LEX(렉스)와 예전에 만난 적이 있다며 상큼한 미소와 함께 포문을 열었다. 이어서 최근 ‘근황올림픽’에 출연하며 화제가 됐던 부분에 대해 “팀활동을 오래 하다 보니 단체 생활에 익숙해졌는데 쉬는 동안 나에 대해 많이 알게 됐다”라며 “쉬는 시간도 필요하다는 것을 알게 됐다”라고 전했다.
특히 예지는 본인의 별명에 관해 “미친개가 별명이다. 제 안에 있는 하나의 모습이라고 생각한다”라며 “화가 날 때 오히려 차분해진다. 웃으면서 화내는 스타일”이라고 밝혀 눈길을 끌었다. 또한 예지는 “징크스는 딱히 없다. 관객들과 즐겨야지 하고 무대에 오르는 편”이라며 무대를 향한 애정도 드러냈다.
가수 나비의 ‘길에서’로 오디션에 합격했다고 전한 예지는 감미로운 목소리와 함께 ‘길에서’를 짧게 열창, 청취자들의 귀를 호강시켰다. 안정적인 보컬 실력을 뽐낸 예지는 “원래 노래로 회사에 들어갔었다. 포지션이 나뉘면서 랩으로 전향하게 됐다”라며 보컬과 랩 모두 잘하는 다재다능한 모습도 보였다.
이어진 토크에서 예지는 “현재 심리학 공부를 하고 있다”라고 고백해 이목을 집중시키는가 하면, “사람이 불안하거나, 공허할 때가 있는데 이런 감정의 근원지는 무엇일까 생각한다. 공부를 통해 내 감정에 대해 알 수 있다”라고 말해 의외의 면모도 선사했다.
이외에도 예지는 30초 동안 매력 자랑 타임에서 “저는 랩, 노래, 춤 다 잘하고, 작사와 작곡도 하고, 몸매가 꽤 좋습니다”라고 말해 듣는 이들의 공감을 얻었고, “살면서 했던 가장 미친 짓은?”이라는 질문에 “일탈을 딱히 해본 적이 없는데, 친구들과 하루 종일 술만 마셨던 적이 있다”라고 말해 모두를 놀라게 했다. “폴킴과 듀엣하고 싶다”라고 밝힌 예지는 최근 발매한 ‘시크릿토(Secreto)’를 라이브로 열창, 매혹적인 보이스로 대중을 홀렸다.
한편, 예지는 최근 공식 유튜브 채널을 통해 MSG워너비 ‘바라만 본다’ 커버 영상을 공개, 그간 보여줬던 이미지와는 다른 감미로우면서 애절한 감정선을 선사해 화제를 불러 모았다.

Japan confirms plan to release contaminated water from Fukushima into Pacific Ocean

Mokyeon, on Tuesday morning, the Japanese government said in a cabinet meetingthat it will start releasing the water into the Pacific Ocean in 2 years.
This is the first official statement after years of back and forth on how to process the still radioactive water that's been stored since 2011 when the powerful earthquake and tsunami of the same year all but destroyed the Fukushima power plant.
More than 1.2-5 million tons of contaminated water are stored in tanks, of which only 30 percent meets the standard for release of radioactive materials into the sea.

U.S. "unchanged" on Iran sanctions regarding Iranian assets frozen in S. Korea: YonhapNews

The U.S. reportedly says its position on the Iran sanctions is "unchanged" as Iran continues to demand that South Korea return its assets frozen under the sanctions.
This comes after South Korea's Prime Minister Chung Sye-kun, on a visit to Iran this past week, said that the money is Iran's and should be returned to its owner, though noting that they would first have to find a way.
Yonhap News reported the U.S. stance on the issue, citing a State Department spokesperson who asked not to be identified.
Washington has said before that there will be no sanctions relief for Iran until it returns to compliance with the 2015 nuclear deal.

Biden pushes for more investment in U.S. semiconductor industry amid chip shortage

U.S. President Joe Biden stressed the need for aggressive investment in semiconductor "infrastructure" to protect supply chains.
His remarks came during a virtual summit held by the White House on Monday, to discuss short-and-long-term solutions to the global chip shortage that's taking its toll on numerous sectors including the U.S. auto industry.
"Chips like the one I have here, these chips, these wafers are batteries, broadband, it's all infrastructure. This is infrastructure. So, look, we need to build the infrastructure of today, not repair the one of yesterday. And the plan I proposed is going to create millions of jobs, rebuild America, protect our supply chains and revitalize American manufacturing."
